PCI Geomatics to showcase GeoImaging Tools at Canadian Geomatics Conference
Richmond Hill, Ontario – June 9, 2010: PCI Geomatics, a world leading developer of geo-imaging software and systems will be exhibiting and speaking at the upcoming Canadian Geomatics Conference 2010 in Calgary, Alberta, June 15 to 18. The Conference will focus on the largely untapped potential of Intelligent Mapping and the critical role Geomatics can play in bolstering Canada’s productivity, innovation, global competitiveness and overall socio-economic well-being.
Peter Hazlett, Product Manager at PCI Geomatics will speak to attendees on June 16 at 3:30pm about GeoImaging Tools – a new suite of tools which allow users to import accurate imagery from multiple sources in their ArcGIS™ workflows. Hazlett will highlight the benefits of these highly automated tools for correcting raw satellite imagery, which is revolutionizing the integration of remotely sensed imagery into GIS workflows.
“PCI Geomatics provides the necessary tools to automatically achieve high levels of accuracy for image registration and directly integrates into ESRI’s imagery workflow, therefore eliminating the need for data duplification from one software system to another,” said Terry Moloney, Interim President and CEO, PCI Geomatics.
Designed with GIS users in mind, the GeoImaging Tools Image Correction Module can be beneficial to multiple industries with its automation and multi-sensor support.
Conference attendees will also learn more about PCI Geomatics’ offerings including: GeoImaging Accelerator, a high performance system with accelerated GPU based performance; and GeoConference, real-time interactive geospatial conferencing. Throughout the conference, PCI Geomatics staff will be available in Booth #202 for on-site demonstrations and further discussions.
