PCI Geomatics Enhances Geospatial Processing Abilities with ProSDK 1.5

Richmond Hill, Ontario – July 29, 2010: PCI Geomatics, a world leading developer of geo-imaging software and systems, is pleased to announce the release of a new version of its Professional Software Development Kit (ProSDK), an integrated toolkit used for building highly automated and customized workflow solutions.

The ProSDK includes a set of libraries, header files and tools that allow users to run and write Pluggable Functions (PPFs) which can be dynamically loaded into an image-processing script or program. ProPacks bundle these PPFs into useable applications for geospatial data processing in areas such as orthorectification or mosaicking.

“ProSDK 1.5 facilitates organizations to gain stronger operating efficiencies by automating their processes and adding customized geo-imaging software development,” said David Piekny, Product Manager of Solutions at PCI Geomatics.

7 additional ProPacks have been included within this release, including spatial analysis, classification and new sensors, as well as Arc Image Server (read) and BigTiff (read/write) formats.

Windows and Linux editions of ProSDK, ProPacks and detailed documentation are available to support customer software development efforts. PCI Geomatics also offers full service solutions delivered by their Professional Services Department.
